AP conmen arrested for attempting to dupe Bengaluru businessman

The South-East Division police have nabbed three conman from Andhra Pradesh for trying to dupe a Bengaluru-based businessman by offering to convert blank papers with Rs. 1000 currency notes using export quality chemical.

The accused Rajesh (27) from Kadapa, Prasad (37) from Prakasham District and Domodharan (42) from Chittur would lure people by giving demos on converting a blank white sheet of paper into crisp currency note of Rs. 1000 denomination.

The accused later demand thousands of rupees for a bottle of chemical and escape after handing over a bottle of tincture.

The trio were nabbed by a team of police from South division based on a tip-off . The police have recovered a few bundles of blank paper cut into the seize of currency-notes and a few bottles of tincture from them.

The accused have been taken into custody to ascertain if they have been involved in similar offences earlier.
