Officer leading probe into D.K. Ravi’s death transferred

IG Pronab Mohanty to be replaced by Pratap Reddy.

Pronab Mohanty, Inspector General of Police, Crime Investigation Department (CID), who was leading the probe into the death of IAS officer D.K. Ravi, was abruptly transferred to the Lokayukta on Wednesday, a day after the case was transferred to the CID.

Inspector General of Police Pratap Reddy will replace Mr. Mohanty, who was in the midst of investigation into the case as the orders were passed on Wednesday afternoon.
