Students from classes one to four of the school at Marathahalli where a six-year old was raped re-opened on Wednesday amidst concerns. Parents who were already worried about sending their kids to school grew more anxious following the arrest of two more people on Tuesday. While some children took the school bus, others were dropped by their parents in order to be reassured that their wards were safe.
A parent who has been reading the newspaper and watching the television to track the case said that the only way the anxieties of the parents could end was if the management stepped down. A parent also urged the school authorities to issue a statement and clarify what happened in the premises. Classes five to 10 had begun on Monday and pre-primary classes are scheduled to commence on Thursday.
