KSRTC wheels out more Volvo services

The Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) has introduced Airavat (Volvo) services from Bangalore to Pavagada, Y.N. Hoskote, Thrissur and Ernakulam.

The service to Pavagada leaves Bangalore at 5.45 p.m. to reach Pavagada at 9.15 p.m. and Y.N. Hoskote at 9.45 p.m. via Gauribidanur, Hindupur and Madakashira.

In the return direction, the service leaves Y.N. Hoskote at 6 p.m. to reach Pavagada at 6.40 a.m. and Bangalore at 9.45 a.m.

The fares are Rs. 175 for Pavagada and Rs. 200 for Y.N. Hoskote.

To Thrissur

The Airavat service to Thrissur leaves Bangalore at 6.15 p.m. to reach Thrissur at 5.30 a.m. via Mysore, Coimbatore and Palakkad. The return service leaves Thrissur at 8.30 p.m. to reach Bangalore at 7 a.m. The fare is Rs. 587.

KSRTC's Airavat service to Ernakulam leaves Bangalore at 6.30 p.m. to reach Ernakulam at 4.45 a.m. via Hosur, Coimbatore and Thrissur. The return service leaves Ernakulam at 8.30 p.m. to reach Bangalore at 6.15 a.m. The fare is Rs. 598.

The corporation will commence the first Airavat service to Gulbarga from Bangalore from September 24. The service leaves Bangalore at 9.30 p.m. to reach Gulbarga at 9.30 a.m. via Bellary, Sindhanur and Shahapur. The return service leaves Gulbarga at 8.30 p.m. to reach Bangalore at 8.30 a.m. The fare is Rs. 632.
