Karnataka Housing Board will be acquiring 3,000 acres around the city for formation of residential sites and construct group houses, State Housing Minister V Somanna said today.
Land is being acquired near Devanahalli, Tavarekere near Magadi and Doddaaladamara, he told reporters here.
The process of acquisition of land is expected to be completed in about two months, he said.
Besides this, KHB is planning to build multi-storey housing flats near Kengeri on ten acres and a shopping complex on three acres near Yelahanka.
A dispute over 400 acres of land at Hubli-Dharwad has been resolved, he said.
