A 45-year-old man allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself in his house in Sunkadakate in Kamakshipalya on Wednesday night. The deceased, Vishnuvardhana, a native of Raichur, was unemployed. He was an alcoholic and was undergoing severe depression due to financial problem.
The suicide came to light when his wife woke up on Thursday morning and found Vishuvardhana hanging from the ceiling. The police have registered a case of unnatural death and are investigating.
