June 30, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 05:53 am IST - VISAKHAPATNAM:

The YSR Congress on Monday challenged actor Pawan Kalyan to speak out against the “misrule” of the TDP Government in the State and the NDA Government at the Centre.

The party’s Vizag district president Gudivada Amarnath told the media here that the actor should clarify whether he was being forced by the ruling party to remain silent. Mr. Pawan Kalyan had during a recent tour of Mangalagiri expressed solidarity with the farmers there and promised to fight for their rights after his return to Hyderabad but in fact he spoke in favour of the land pooling system, Mr. Amarnath pointed out. YSRC State spokesperson Koyya Prasad Reddy was among others leaders present.
