Young change-makers to present their ideas

Embarking on a new project called ‘Happy India’, IndiaFirst Life Insurance selected top 25 teams from various schools to encourage them to become young change-makers.

Out of the selected teams, five teams have been shortlisted from Visakhapatnam: two teams (Twinkling Stars and Come) from Visakha Valley School, Earth team from Balaji English Medium School, Indian Springs team from Ramakrishna School and Mica team from M.S.M. English Medium School. The initiative, supported by Bank of Baroda and Andhra Bank, saw 1,042 ideas being shared among change-makers on topics such as energy conservation, health, education, security, environment protection and financial inclusion. A grant of Rs.50,000 has been given for the participating teams. Chief Marketing Officer of the insurance company Mohit Rochlani lauded the efforts made by the students across the country, particularly the five teams from the City of Destiny.
