Yoga Day

Andhra University’s Yoga and Consciousness Centre is organising International Yoga Day on its premises on June 21. A mass meditation programme will be held and a human chain would be formed in front of the Yoga Village on the beach road on the evening of June 21, Director of the Yoga Centre P. Nirmala Devi said.

An awareness programme would be conducted by experts in the morning and prizes would be distributed to winners of several competitions to be conducted for students on June 15 and 16. Foreign students would demonstrate Yoga Aasanans explain the benefits of Yoga, Dr. Nirmala Devi said.
