Dr. T. Ravi Raju, well-known nephrologist and former Vice-Chancellor of Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada, has been given honorary Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians (FRCP), London.

FRCP is an exceptional honour given to physicians of high eminence. Their suggestions are taken in the implementation of policies on health, improvement of health standards in the U.K., framing of guidelines for treatment of various diseases and conduct of medical exams in the U.K. Dr. Ravi Raju was chosen for the degree in recognition of his research on Chronic Kidney Diseaseat Uddanam in Srikakulam district. The FRCP degree will be presented to him at a ceremony to be held in London on July 25.
