Bid to enter record books

Vasavi Club Greater Visakha Couples is organising a treasure hunt on July 2.

The event to be held in association with Prism Degree and PG College aims at entering the Guinness Book of World Records, beating the existing record where the participation count crossed 1,300.

Those aged 14 years and above are eligible to take part in the treasure hunt which will be held at Beach Road from NTR statue to YSR statue.

Registrations will begin at 6 a.m. on July 2 near Kali Mata temple, Beach Road and is based on first come first served basis. The first clue will be given to the registered participants at 7 a.m. followed by other clues.

The top four winners will walk away with prizes that include Honda Activa two-wheeler, six-gram gold chain, microwave oven and a home theatre system. Those securing fifth to 20th spots in the treasure hunt will be given cash vouchers. Certificates will be given to all participants.
