Symbiosys Technologies CEO Naresh Kumar received the best software exporter award for two years in export-oriented unit category for small and medium units.
The award was given to Symbiosys by Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy for the year 2007-08.
Another award for best performance also for EoU units for 2008-09 was presented by Minister for Information Technology Ponnala Lakshmaiah. The Chief Minister and the IT Minister congratulated Mr.Naresh Kumar and requested him to provide more employment and focus on growth in coming years.
The awards were given at the annual awards function of EoU and Special Economic Zones conducted by the Development Commissioner of Visakhapatnam Special Economic Zone for all units at Hyderabad on Monday.
Awards for 2007-08 were given by Mr. Reddy and for 2008-09 and 2009-10 by Mr. Lakshmaiah and Major Industries Minister Geetha Reddy. VSEZ Development Commissioner M.S. Rao was present along with other senior officials.
