Seats on Dubai flights available, says ATA (I)

Passengers bound for Dubai and onwards to Africa, Europe, US and South America have been asked to note that seats are available on the Visakhapatnam-Hyderabad-Dubai inaugural flight for March 25.

The Air India flight (AI 952) will leave Visakhapatnam at 6.40 p.m. everyday. AI 952 bound for Dubai also connects Air India's non-stop Chicago flight (AI 127) at Hyderabad. This connection saves time, effort and cost to those travelling to Chicago and surrounding States in the USA besides Canada, according to the Air Travellers Association of India president D. Varada Reddy.

Passengers can contact the office of Air India in the city for more details.

Award

ATA (I) has selected SpiceJet as the ‘Best Airline' for the year 2011. The airline was chosen on the parameters of staff courtesy at the counters, on board reception, safety procedures, extended courtesy to senior citizens and baggage handling based on surveys, feedback from passengers and assessment made by a panel of judges, according to a statement issued today. The award will be presented by Union Minister for Civil Aviation Ajit Singh on March 25.
