SBI promotes social security schemes

State Bank of India organised four awareness camps in the city on Wednesday to promote the ‘Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana’ and the ‘Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyothi Bima Yojana’, launched by the Government of India as part of social security scheme.

Awareness camps

The awareness camps were conducted at the Kailasapuram branch, Isukathota ADB branch, Arilova branch and Poorna Market branch of SBI. A total of 1,000 persons registered – 720 for Suraksha Bima and 280 for Jeevan Jyothi – at the four awareness-cum-registration camps.

Assistant General Manager (Region-V) K.N. Prasad inaugurated the awareness camps. Manager (Financial Inclusion) M. Badarinadh and Branch Manager of Kailasapuram Branch B. Venu Gopal were present at the inaugural function held at Kailasapuram branch.
