A 20-foot sand sculpture of Lord Natraj will be created at Ramakrishna Beach to commemorate the World Dance Day on Sunday. Around 5,000 artistes would perform ‘Kuchipudi naatya nivedana', on the beach opposite the Kali temple, with candles, according to the founder of Nataraj Music and Dance Academy Battina Vikram Goud. Artistes participating in the ‘naatya nivedana' programme would be given certificates. Interested persons can call on mobile no. 98481 37445 for registration.
