Prostitution racket busted

City Task Force (CTF) busted a prostitution racket in Narasimha Nagar at Akkayyapalem, on Monday evening, and rescued a 17-year-old minor girl.

The racket was being run from a posh-looking independent house.

The CTF also arrested organiser by name Sridevi and a customer.

The rescued girl who was being used in the trade hails from Gujarat and had come to the city through some middleman, said CTF Inspector Illyas Mohammed.

The organiser was booked under ITP Act and handed over to Fourth Town Police station and the girl has been sent to a correction home, said CTF ACP I. Chittibabu.
