Man ‘kills’ wife suspecting fidelity

A 34-year old person allegedly strangled his wife to death at Shiva Shakthi Nagar in Madhurwada area under PM Palem Police Station limits, in Visakhapatnam on Thursday late night. The accused committed the crime allegedly suspecting her fidelity.

According to PM Palem Police Station Inspector Suryanarayana, I, Simhachalam (34), an autorickshaw driver, had used to quarrel with his wife I. Padma. On Thursday, the duo had an altercation, thereafter Simhachalam allegedly beat her up and murdered her in a fit of rage.

Mr. Suryanarayana said that the victim died on Friday morning after battling for life. The accused was arrested on Friday. A case was registered and investigation is on.
