Kurnool simmers

Except for Nizamabad in Telangana state, where the temperature rose about two degrees over the normal figure, temperature in A.P. remained by and large at normal level, thought it crossed 40 degree Celsius in a couple of districts. The highest temperature recorded in the state was at Kurnool, where it went up to 41, following by Anantapur 40.

According to the Cyclone Warning Centre in Visakhapatnam, the variation was about one degree, plus or minus, which was a normal phenomenon during this part of the year. The temperatures recorded at a few places were – Kalingapatnam 38, Visakhapatnam 33, Kakinada 37, Machilipatnam 36, Vijayawada 39 and Ongole 38.

The forecast will be dry weather with spells of thunder shower at some places due to the rising temperature.
