October 17, 2011 02:08 pm | Updated November 17, 2021 12:53 am IST - VISAKHAPATNAM:

A juvenile gave some tense moments to the police when he climbed onto a building and threatened to jump off.

The juvenile was caught by the Malkapuram police on the charge of theft. When asked about where he had kept the ornaments stolen, he told the police they were at his house and brought them to the Four Town area on Sunday.

When the vehicle had slowed down at a speed-breaker, he managed to give the slip to the police and ran away and climbed on to the Port Kalyanamantapam.

It took sometime for the police to convince him and make him climb down.

He was taken back to Malkapuram police station, it was learnt.
