ICET schedule released

: The AP Integrated Common Entrance Test (AP ICET) 2016, for admission into MBA and MCA programmes in the State, will be held on May 16 at 17 regional centres across the State. The ranks would be released on May 27.

The notification on APICET was released on Wednesday and Chairman of the test and Vice-Chancellor of Andhra University G.S.N. Raju and Convenor K. Rama Mohana Rao gave details of the examination at a press conference here.

“An experienced and well-oiled machinery is in place and we are sure the entrance test will be conducted smoothly,” Prof. Raju said. The following is the schedule of the ICET: Online submission of application will commence on February 6 and the last date for submitting the application is March 3. The applications can be submitted online till March 15 with a late fee of Rs. 500. The registration fee is Rs. 350 and can be paid through AP Online Centres in AP and also through credit card, debit card, or Net banking.

Corrections are allowed to be made in the data in the online application till Marcy 19.

Online applications

Candidates are allowed to submit the online application with a late fee of Rs. 2000 till March 24 and March 31 with a late fee of Rs. 5000. Those who missed the deadline can still apply till May 9 by paying a fine of Rs. 10,000 but they have to appear for the test only at the Visakhapatnam centre.

Hall tickets can be downloaded from the websitewww.apicet.net.infrom April 20. After the two-and-a-half hour test is held from 10 a.m. on May 16, the preliminary key would be released on May 19 and objections on the key will be received till May 23 before the ranks are declared on May 27.

ICET 2016 will be conducted at Anantapur, Kadapa, Kurnool, Kuppam, Chittoor, Tirupati, Nellore, Ongole, Guntur, Vijayawada, Bhimavaram, Rajamahendravaram, Amalapuram, Kakinada, Visakhapatnam, Vizianagaram and Srikakulam regional centres.
