Hyderabad-based engineer found dead at Rambilli

A 28-year-old engineer from Hyderabad was found dead under mysterious circumstances in his room at Rambilli on Thursday morning. The deceased was identified as B. Sridhar, an engineer of Hyderabad-based construction firm P.L. Raju Constructions (PLRC).

A native of Khammam, the engineer had come to supervise some ongoing construction work at the Naval Alternative Operations Base (NAOB) Rambilli, from Hyderabad on Wednesday morning.

He was staying in a room at the company’s guest house. On Wednesday night, he complained of stomach pain and was taken to a doctor, nearby. He was treated for some gastric ailment and was brought back to the room.

On Thursday morning, he was found lying on the floor. The company officials immediately shifted him to a corporate hospital, where he was declared as brought dead.

The Rambilli police have registered a case under Cr. Pc section 174 for death under suspicious circumstances.

The inspector of Rambilli Police Station K. Malleshwara Rao informed The Hindu that a post-mortem was conducted and the body was handed over to the family members. The police are investigating the case.
