Government doctors and officials held a coordination meeting here on Friday.

All technicians in KGH and Andhra Medical College would be trained in collecting nasopharyngeal swab from suspected swine flu patients and to send AMC staff to the IPM in Hyderabad for training. KGH would provide two ventilators to the chest hospital and Associate Professor of chest hospital R. Sunil Kumar was made nodal officer for swine flu treatment at the GHCCD.

Kumar, Regional Director of Medical and Health Services Somaraju, Superintendent of GHCCD Sambasiva Rao, Deputy Superintendent of King George Hospital K. Satyavara Prasad, Superintendent of Government ENT Hospital Krishna Kishore, DMHO J. Sarojini, nodal officers L.B.H.S. Devi and K. Indira Devi, HoD of Anaesthesia of KGH and AMC A. Satyanarayana, professor of paediatrics Swamy Naidu, professor of microbiology Balamuralikrishna and assistant professor Sivakalyani attended the meeting.
