MP and member of Parliamentary Standing Committee on Commerce K. Haribabu on Monday said the city would become home for various premier educational and R&D institutes.
Stating that the NDA government was favourable to develop Andhra Pradesh in all spheres, he said Visakhapatnam is the largest city and the financial capital of Andhra Pradesh. He said the committee would consider representations to establish Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, Indian Institute of Packaging, Indian Institute of Plantation Management, Seafood Research Lab in the city.
