Ganja seized from house, woman held

Following a tip off on illegal transportation and storage of ganja, the City Task Force team raided a house at Cheruvugattu in Allipuram area and apprehended one woman Arasavilla Lakshmi and seized 19 kgs of dry ganja from her possession.

In another raid, the CTF team intercepted two persons on the railway station road and seized 18 kgs of ganja that was being transported in an auto-rickshaw.

The apprehended persons have been identified as Pangi Balaraju and Pangi Venkatesulu, both residents of G. Madugula in Visakhapatnam agency.

The arrested persons along with seized property have been handed over to SHOs of II Town and IV Town police stations for further investigation.
