A one-day cinema workshop will be organised by United Students (US) Productions, in association with Director Geetha Krishna and Geetha Krishna International Film School, at the Platinum Jubilee Hall of Andhra University on October 11.
An ‘audition’ will be conducted after the workshop to select the best acting talent from among the boys and girls who had acted in short films from Visakhapatnam, for the upcoming thriller-horror film of Mr. Geetha Krishna.
The workshop is designed for those with or without filmmaking experience, to equip them with basic skills to pursue career options in films as director and actor, according to Avinash Attada, director of the US Productions.
The workshop would also expose the participants to the emerging trends in digital filmmaking, including production and post-production techniques.
The participants would have the opportunity to interact with Mr. Geetha Krishna, who made films like ‘Sankeertana’, ‘Kokila’ and ‘Keechurallu’.
He said that this was the first workshop being conducted by the US Productions and more such events would be held at Vijayawada, Tirupati and other places in the State.
