Auction of VUDA layouts from today

All is set for auction of 244 plots in 13 layouts of VUDA and a joint venture at Swarna Bharati Indoor Stadium here on Saturday and Sunday. Arrangements, including technical support, for conducting the auction in a smooth and transparent manner were completed.

The auction process begins at 10 a.m. and applicants should turn up before an hour.

Vice-Chairman N. Yuvaraj supervised the arrangements made on Friday evening and gave instructions to officials on more facilities to be provided for applicants.

Two big screens have been arranged to display the bidding process live making the process transparent and enabling applicants view it.

Special counters

Special counters were arranged to facilitate the applicants to overcome any last minute hitch with paper work.

All the applicants should download two copies of auction slips from their applications and submit them at the counters at the venue to obtain permission slips. One person may accompany an applicant.

A bank counter has been also arranged by the Indian Overseas Bank, VUDA Branch, to extend banking services.

The Vice-Chairman has stated that name change or addition or deletion of names in applications or third party registrations will not be permitted for allotment of plots after confirmation of bids. The allotted plot will be registered in favour of the names mentioned in the application submitted.

Deletion

All together 244 plots have been put for auction from 13 layouts. After deletion of certain plots from the present auction, 164 plots in Sontyam layout, 25 in Cyber Valley Sector-I, 10 inCyber Valley Sector-II, 14 in Madhurawada government lands layout, 11 in Kapuluppada Joint Venture, four in Adibhatla Nagar, five in Kummaripalem, two each in Kanapaka Ayyannapeta, Chinamushidiwada and MVP and one each in Bheemunipatnam and Kurmannapalem Phase-V layout and three in Kurmannapalem Town Centre layout are kept available for disposal through auction.

Auction Officer and VUDA secretary G.C. Kishore Kumar and Chief Accounts Officer D. Vijaya Bharathi were among those present.
