The results of Andhra University Common Entrance Test (AUCET)-2019 and Andhra University Engineering Entrance Test (AUEET)-2019 were declared here on Thursday.
As many as 17,133 aspirants of the total 19,129 candidates who had applied wrote AUCET while 2,790 candidates of the total 3,191 applicants appeared for AUEET, AU Vice-Chancellor G. Nagewara Rao said after releasing the results.
Abdul Latheef topped the AUCET in science stream with 91 marks, while Vasa Ganapathi Rao emerged topper of the arts, commerce and management courses with 86 marks. Tangirala Jaya Sree Lakshmi Savitri topped AUEET for the admission into the six-year B.Tech and M.Tech dual degree programme with 81 marks. The admissions for the newly formed Gurajada Apparao University in Vizianagaram will be done through the AUCET for this academic year, Mr. Nageswara Rao said.
Certificate verification
He informed that helplines for the admission process will be set up in Visakhapatnam, Vizianagaram, Srikakulam and Vijayawada soon.
The rank cards will be available for downloading from May 19 and the registration for certificate verification and online counselling will begin from May 29.
The certification verification for NCC and CAP category candidates will begin from May 29, while the same for physically challenged and sports categories will begin on May 30 and for NSS on May 31. For others, it will be taken up between June 2 to 7 from 9 a.m. at the helpline centres.
Web options
Web options will open from June 3 to 8 and allotment of seats will be done from June 11 to 13 for the first phase and certificate verification for second phase will be done from June 16 to 18. Web options for second phase will open from June 16 to 19 and allotment of seats will be done on June 24.
“The payment process for allotted seats will open from June 24 to 27 and the vacancy position will be announced on June 28. Candidates need to report to their respective colleges on July 1,” the V-C added. Rank cards are available at www.andhrauniversity.edu.
