AU gives nod for land for aircraft museum

EPF for time-scale employees

The Executive Council of Andhra University that met on Wednesday approved allotment of one acre for TU-142 museum on the Beach Road but wanted the government to give land in lieu of land given earlier.

It also approved providing EPF to time-scale employees in the university, appointment of teaching associates on temporary basis in self-financing courses and opting of permanent teaching and non-teaching staff at PG Centres at Tadepalligudem and Kakinada to work in the university.

Vice-Chancellor G. Nageswara Rao, Registrar V. Uma Maheswara Rao, Council members G. Sasibhushana Rao, Prasada Rao, N. Babayya, Suresh Chittineni, S. Vijaya Ravindra, P. Somanadhra Rao and Commissioner of Collegiate Education G S. Panda Das participated.
