Arunodaya Special School celebrates Graduation Day

A graduation day was organised at the Arunodaya Special School campus at Ukkunagaram on Friday

Joint Director of the Press Information Bureau (PIB) Shruti Seshadri, who is the wife of District Collector V. Seshadri, called upon the children of the special school to build confidence and faith to achieve success in life. She commended the zeal and commitment of the school management towards the rehabilitation of special children. She underlined the need for their economic rehabilitation for bringing them into the mainstream of society.

Mrs. Shruti appreciated the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant management and the CSR Department for coming forward to help the students who passed out from Arunodaya after completing 18 years of age. She expressed confidence that the children would lead a peaceful and good life with the support of their parents.

She distributed certificates to 20 children, who had completed their studies. Earlier, she planted saplings, visited the facilities and witnessed the vocational exhibition organised in the school.

President of Arunodaya Special School and Visteel Mahila Samiti Lata Choudhary observed that the ultimate aim of any disability rehabilitation programme was to ensure integration. Executive Director (Business Development & Strategies &CSR) R Shankar said that the Arunodaya Special School showcased the commitment of RINL-CSR initiative.

Vice President of Arunodaya Special School Educational Society Sarada Rao, Vice president of Visteel Mahila Samiti Preeti Roy, Manager (Personnel) and Secretary of the School SL Raju were present.
