Araku MP Kothapalli Geeta here on Monday expressed that she was not happy with the functioning of YSR Congress Party.

But she fell short of saying that she was keen on resigning from the party.

Talking to a select group of media persons she said women do not have a good and respectful stature in the party and that was one of the reasons why she has been distancing herself from the party activities.

She also pointed out that she was still undecided on which party ticket she would contest in 2019 election. “Whatever, may be the situation, I will first resign from my MP post and then choose a party and contest,” she said.
