Miss Vizag eyes film worldMiss Vizag 2014 Shobhana Guddela desires to be an actress if opportunities come her way. “I hail from a family that has no connection with the glamour world. This platform of Miss Vizag is a wonderful chance for many girls like me to fulfil the dreams of entering the world of fashion and films. I am very passionate about fashion and modelling,” said the 22-year-old graduate in civil engineering, who is also keen on pursuing higher studies abroad.
With no prior experience of modelling, Shobhana said she didn't expect to make it to the top six finalists. “It was a great surprise for me. But I worked hard to put in my best. I was very nervous in the beginning. After winning the closely-fought contest, it really feels great,” she said.
Incidentally, it was Shobhana’s birthday on Sunday. “This is one of the best birthday gifts I have ever received,” said Shobana, with a glint in her eyes.
