Swachh Bharat Rath flagged off

Swachh Bharat Fortnight was inaugurated by HPCL Visakh Refinery with the flagging off of Swachh Bharat Rath on Thursday. As part of Swachh Bharath Mission, the refinery flagged off Swachh Rath (vehicle) to promote awareness on cleanliness and Swachh Visakha in the neighbouring communities. Visakha West MLA P.G.V.R. Naidu inaugurated the rath.

The MLA applauded HPCL for taking initiatives under Swachh Bharat Mission and appreciated the services provided by the company for education and health under CSR.

General Manager in-charge G. Prasad Sarma informed that Visakh Refinery would organise various activities like walkathons, street plays, competitions and cleanliness drives for bringing awareness on Swachh Bharat.

General Manager (Materials) A.S.V. Ramanan administered the pledge in Hindi.
