Seven killed in accident near Kandaladibba

Six teenagers travelling in a car and the driver of the vehicle they were travelling in were killed when the vehicle rammed into a stationary lorry on the National Highway near Kandaladibba junction in Elamanchili mandal around 6.30 a.m. on Sunday.

The six youngsters, P. Anvesh Kumar, Kemburi Kumar, Boddeti Hemanth Kumar, Patruni Siva Teja, Avireddy Sekhar and Kasi were all from Visakhapatnam and had gone to Upmaka to attend the marriage of their friend on Saturday night. The vehicle they were travelling in met with the accident while they were returning to the city. All the six died on the spot while the driver V. Nani, also from Visakhapatnam died while being taken to the hospital.

Superintendent of Police Vineet Brij Lal visited the spot and the case is being investigated by Inspector of Elamanchili J. Praveen Kumar. Parents and relatives of the victims rushed to the spot from Visakhapatnam.
