Parties plan agitation

Opposition parties vowed to launch massive agitation against hike in prices of petrol fearing that the common man's life would be in deep trouble with cascading effect on prices all essential commodities.

According to them, the government had spoiled the mood of the public during the Sankranti festival with the steep increase of oil price- up to Rs. 3 per litre. TDP, Praja Rajyam, CPI, CPI (M) and other parties will announce their action plan in a couple of days.

Telugu Desam senior leader Kinjarapu Yerrannaidu said the decision of the government would have a drastic impact on all the sections of the society. He indicated that Telugu Desam and other opposition parties would not keep quiet over the issue of petro price hike .

“We will involve people in building up an agitation against the government.

The agitations in the district will continue until the government reduces prices.
