Do you believe in the existence of ghosts and spirits in real life? Well, whether one believes it or not, of late, a lot of experimentation is going on in the reel world on the horror genre.

One such film that whips up paranormal thriller with slices of horror, romance, and suspense is Antha Akkade Jarigindi . More than the title, the intriguing part of the movie appears to be its posters with the actors stringed in a row as puppets.

The crew says that the concept of the story creates a sense of fear, and hence they have taken enough care in designing the graphics of the film.

At the audio launch here on Sunday, Kandregula Adinarayana, a teacher-turned-producer, said that the movie was all set to hit 89 theatres across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana on November 14, besides 11 cinema halls in Karnataka.

The Visakhapatnam-based producer looks excited as he says, “This is my debut cinema as a producer. The complete film has been shot within a 36-day schedule. And a major portion of the film is canned in Visakhapatnam, Araku, and Odisha.”

Sharing his views, Ajgar Ali, editor of the film, says that the storyline is based on how the present generation is drawn to the concept of making quick money while getting caught in a variety of distractions.

Vice-Chancellor of Andhra University G.S.N. Raju, who attended the programme, said that he was intrigued by the title as it creates a sense of curiosity among movie buffs.

Sunny Raj, Sravan, Ganesh, Akanksha, and Kavitha play the lead roles. Satish Kumar Puli has wielded the megaphone.

Music was scored by Rajendar and cinematography by Pravin Hari Rajan. The small-budget flick was made under SKML Motion Pictures banner.
