The government will be rolling out 65 services through the mobile phones from November this year as part of the e-Pragati being implemented on a mission mode in four phases.
It aims at a certificate-less government. Once the project is completed it would offer 745 services covering 315 government agencies of 33 departments. It aims at building a core database as ‘Single Source of Truth’ which would be shared across all government departments.
Based on the ‘Open Group Architecture Framework’ it would have core infrastructure and applications implemented centrally by the IT Department and the individual department applications and packages would be implemented by the line departments as per the e-Pragati standards.
The government will set up an e-Pragati Academy in Amaravati to train its employees for operations, Special Secretary IT G S Phani Kishore explained at the launch of the vision document on Friday.
In the first phase of the project, applications for Medical and Health Department will be launched. In Citizen services m-Seva, dial AP and Mee Kosam services would be rolled out, apart from the already launched services such as Mee Bhoomi Mee Intiki .
