12 trains cancelled to facilitate safety works

Seven long distance trains will also run on diverted routes in view of the safety works in the Vijayawada Division of South Central Railway

A dozen trains have been cancelled to facilitate safety works in the Vijayawada Division of South Central Railway (SCR). The train services cancelled are: 22701 Visakhapatnam-Vijayawada Uday Express, leaving from Visakhapatnam from November 20 to 25; 22702 Vijayawada-Visakhapatnam Uday Express, leaving from Vijayawada, from November 20 to 25; 17267 Kakinada-Visakhapatnam MEMU Special, leaving from Kakinada, from November 20 to 26; 17268 Visakhapatnam - Kakinada MEMU special, leaving from Visakhapatnam, from November 20 to 26; 17243 Guntur- Rayagada Express, leaving from Guntur from November 20 to 26 and 17244 Rayagada-Guntur Express, leaving from Rayagada, from November 21 to 27.

Similarly, 17239 Guntur-Visakhapatnam Simhadri Express, leaving from Guntur, from November 20 to 26 and 17240 Visakhapatnam-Guntur Simhadri Express, leaving from Visakhapatnam, from November 21 to 27; 17219 Machilipatnam-Visakhapatnam Express, leaving from Machilipatnam, from November 20 to 26; 17220 Visakhapatnam-Machilipatnam Express, leaving from Visakhapatnam from November 21 to 27; 07466 Rajahmundry-Visakhapatnam MEMU Special, leaving from Rajahmundry from November 20 to 26 and 07467 Visakhapatnam- Rajahmundry MEMU Special, leaving from Visakhapatnam from November 20 to 26 are also cancelled, according to a statement issued by Senior Divisional Commercial Manager (Waltair) A.K. Tripathi.
