Clash over land at Sarabavaram village in Rolugunta mandal under Kothakota police station limits in the Agency area of Visakhapatnam district on Monday morning left 11 persons injured.
About 20 persons were involved in the clash at the village square, said Circle-Inspector H. Malleshwara Rao.
While one group allegedly belongs to the president of the village, the other to that of MPTC. Of the 11 injured, eight belong to the Schedule Caste. Of the injured, one suffered serious injuries. He was admitted to King George Hospital in Visakhapatnam for treatment and is said to be out of danger. The others were admitted to the area hospital at Narsipatnam.
