Andhra University is conducting special drive examinations in all its post-graduate and professional courses to provide a chance to the students to clear their backlog subjects. The examinations will be held at the campus colleges, tentatively from July 16.
Students of the following courses and admitted batches who have failed in examinations can appear for the special drive examinations, Registrar of AU said in a press release: M.A., M.Sc., M.A, M.Sc., MBA, M.Com., MHRM, M. Ed., M.E. M.Tech, M.Sc., (Applied Chemistry), M.Sc.(Computer Science and Information System) and LL.M. admitted between 1994-95 and 2009-10; MCA admitted between 1994-95 and 2008-09; B.E., B.Tech. and B.Pharmacy admitted between 1994-95 and 2006-07 and B.L., B.Arch., B.E. (three years) and B.E. (part-time) admitted between 1994-95 and 2006-07.
Last dateThe last date for receiving examination application forms is June 10.
Examination fee is Rs. 5,000 and Rs. 3,000 for each paper of the professional and non-professional course respectively and Rs. 3,000 and Rs. 2,000 for every additional paper. Practical and lab exam fee is Rs. 5,000 and Rs. 3,000 respectively for professional and non-professional course. Project and viva-voce fee for professional and non-professional course is also Rs. 5,000 and Rs. 3,000 respectively.
Betterment and improvement fee for one paper or more for each semester in a year is Rs. 15,000 in case of a professional course and Rs. 7,500 for a non-professional course.
In addition to the fee, a sum of Rs.55 has to be paid towards registration of application, through a demand draft drawn on any nationalised bank in the name of The Registrar, Andhra University, Visakhapatnam-530 003. Examination application form can be downloaded from the AU websites http//www.aucoe.info and http//www.andhrauniversity.edu.in and the filled-in application along with all the marks statements should be submitted through the Principal of the college where the candidate has studied. Examination time-tables will be placed on the websites later.
