Six Crime Spot vehicles launched

Commissioner of Police Ch. Dwaraka Tirumala Rao on Monday flagged off Mobile Forensic Crime Scene Processing Teams (Crime Spots) at the Commissionerate here.

Mr. Tirumala Rao, along with Deputy Commissioners of Police B. Rajakumari, Venkata Appala Naidu and Harshavardhan, inaugurated six vehicles allotted to the Vijayawada Police Commissionerate. Speaking on the occasion, the Police Commissioner said the vehicles, equipped with forensic material, would be made available in all zones in the city.

Crime Spots will rush to the spot and guide the police in taking up investigation and nab the culprits at the earliest. Crime Spots were provided with FSL kits, cameras, explosive detectors and other equipment. Necessary training has been given to the teams, Mr. Tirumala Rao added.
