V. Radhakrishna Reddy has been elected State executive member of Samajwadi Party. P. Vijaykumar Reddy, Sivaramaprasad and Rajesh have been elected party's State committee members.
Mr. Radhakrirshna Reddy and others visited some areas in the city on Monday. On the occasion, he said Samajwadi Party alone can respect the sentiments of people either in Uttar Pradesh or Andhra Pradesh.
The party would strive to stand by the people who were facing turbulent political situation in the State. The party leadership has decided to enter the fray in the next Assembly elections, he said, adding the Samajwadi party would contest byelections.
The party would maintain equidistant from all political parties and fight for the cause of commoner. The party leadership was contemplating constituting committees at zonal, district level, and village level soon, he said adding the youth was invited to join the party, he said.
The Samajwadi Party emerged as the national party by securing highest majority in Uttar Pradesh elections. Party president Mulayam Singh Yadav's son Akhilesh Yadav toured entire State and addressed 250 public meetings. He covered 10,000 km on a cycle to reach the masses, he added.
