Experts at the Business Line Club programme organised at the Andhra Loyola College here on Tuesday said that it was important for the young generation to acquire the right kind of attitude as recruiting companies were keenly considering these aspects of personality.

Sponsored by the Tata Photon as part of the series of programmes, the event marked the delivering of a talk on “My global career” by guest speaker Bin Eid International Executive Search and Placement, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates founder director and general manager M.D. Warrier. Andhra Loyola College principal Francis Xavier, college student affairs dean and senior faculty in commerce department Francis, Sahaya Bhaskaran were present.

In his keynote address on the occasion, Mr. M.D. Warrier emphasised the need for the students to prepare well with all the required skills to meet the demands of the emerging global career scenario. He asked the students not to get misled by gossip that if they take up a particular career, it would give them the best remuneration and returns. Excellence and skill shown in any field of expertise would fetch the best for the right people, he added.

Principal Francis Xavier said that opportunities would come equally to the students coming from small towns as those from big cities and metros. The Hindu regional general manager, K. Chandrasekharan, gave the welcome address.
