National Cadet Corps (NCC) girl cadets from P.B. Siddhartha College on Saturday organised an awareness rally on road safety.

Banners and Placards

The cadets went walking from their college to Madhu Gardens at the Moghalrajpuram junction, holding banners and placards having slogans on road safety.

“Speed Thrills but Kills” read a placard while others read “Safe Driving, Save Lives” and catchy ones like “Alert Today Alive Tomorrow” and “Night Doubles Traffic Troubles”.

As part of the awareness drive, the participants interacted with people en route the rally, especially the youth, urging them to be alert while maneuvering the wheel on roads.

They said safe driving would go a long way in creating a safe society. Girls Cadet Instructor Urmila, Assistant NCC Officer Rohini Kusuma, cadets Mahalakshmi, Bhavani, Kameswari, Keerthimukhi, Heena Suma and Sireesha participated.
