Up-and-coming Telugu film actress Aksha Pardasany of ‘Yuvatha' fame was a surprise package at the Tata Indica eV2 Mileage Marathon flagged off at hotel Fortune Murali Park in the city on Sunday. The mileage marathon was a live mileage drive for the all new Tata Indica eV2 in Vijayawada. The newly launched vehicle is the most fuel efficient car in India that claims a mileage of 25 kmpl. This is certified by the Automotive Research Association of India ARAI for the CR4 diesel engine, asserted organisers of the event.
Customers across the city were invited to participate in a 40-km marathon drive to test the 25 kmpl mileage. Tata Motors personnel had identified a pre-defined circuit, covering the city and highway drive. Fuel consumed during the test drive was measured on full tank basis and the top three winners were selected based on the kmpl obtained.
The event evoked good response recording a total 95 registrations.
