Joint Collector Gandam Chandrudu was greeted with a plethora of problems when he visited Kedareswarapeta Rythu Bazaar on Tuesday evening. Right from lack of toilets to insufficient vegetable stocks, visitors listed out many problems to Mr. Chandrudu.
Kanda Nagamani, a visitor, said though vegetables were sold at the prescribed prices, not many were available in evenings. In reply, Mr. Chandrudu said stringent action would be initiated against the vendors and stall owners, if they sold the vegetables to wholesale buyers. The bazaar with 158 shops does not have many toilets, causing problems to visitors and stall owners. The Joint Collector asked the estate officer to finalise a location for constructing toilets.
