Gain practical knowledge, students told

Acharya Nagarjuna University Vice-Chancellor K. Ramji advised management students to have practical exposure along with theoretical knowledge.

Prof. Ramji was speaking at the inaugural function of the two-day ‘Entrepreneurship Summit’ organised by the Centre for Entrepreneurship Development. He said liberalisation, privatisation and globalisation had put India in top position of economic growth in the world and called upon students to be wary of the developments in the real world.

Entrepreneurs P.V. Seshaiah, CMD of P.V.S. Labs, Y.A. Chowdary, CMD of Yarlagadda Exports, G. Mangaiah, MD of Jayalakshmi Groups and Techno Prenure Promotion Programme director Z. Vishnu Vardhan and others spoke.

They encouraged students to turn job creators rather job seekers. Department of Management Studies head R. Siva Rama Prasad was present.
