District to get 30 new Aadhaar enrolment kits

The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) will make 30 kits available for setting up new enrolment centres at the mandal level in Krishna district, according to its Deputy Director General M.V.S. Rami Reddy.

Addressing a review meeting on enrolment for Aadhar cards and their seeding with bank accounts and other social security schemes here on Tuesday, Mr. Rami Reddy said out of a population of 45,29,009 in Krishna district, 43,10,690 got enrolled and the applications of 2,24,695 were rejected.
