Control room to oversee arrangements

The district administration has set up a control room to oversee the arrangements for the oath-taking ceremony of N. Chandrababu Naidu.

Speaking at a review meeting on the arrangements for the programme here on Thursday, Collector M. Raghunandana Rao asked the Panchayat Raj, Medical Health, APTransco, Transport, Fire and other Department officials to make the programme a grand success.

With several VVIPs attending for the programme, a control room has been set up for following the protocol, he said. City Police Commissioner B. Srinivasulu said that with many Chief Ministers, Union Ministers and other VVIPs attending the ceremony, steps were being taken to provide a foolproof security.
