On Tuesday, it was three-year-old Dolly Shivani Cherukuri, who entered the India Book of Records for her archery skills. On Wednesday, it was the turn of Raghu Malleti (32), a professional guitarist and upcoming music director, who made his way to the record book by playing guitar and singing upside down for 40 minutes.

The previous record was in the name of a radio jockey, Vincent Jebaraj, who realised similar feat in 29 minutes and one second in Chennai in 2011.
Raghu hardly experienced any discomfort hanging in mid-air.
He was strapped with wires and was hooked to a crane which lifted him to a height of 20 feet.
The former N.S.M. Public School music teacher started his tryst with fame exactly at 6 p.m. and effortlessly crooned 16 songs in English, Hindi and Telugu in 40 minutes in front of representives of the publishing house. Raghu rendered songs by Elvis Presley (‘Can’t help falling in love’), John Denver (‘Country roads, take me home’), Johnny Cash (When I was a just a baby) and Kailesh Kher (‘Tere Naam Jee lu…’)
Parting shot
As a parting shot, he sang ‘Give me some sunshine’ a popular song from Aamir Khan-starrer Three idiots and dedicated it to the viewers, who thronged the Ghantasala Venkateswara Rao Music and Dance College to witness the feat.
