Psycho’ Samba, the elusive stalker, who has been cocking a snook at policemen for the last five days, is believed to have made his way through the reserve forests of Kondapalli to Khammam district.

A senior police officer in Guntur said Samba was sighted in Chandrugunda police station limits, which is 100 kmfrom the Kondapalli reserve forest area and falls in Khammam district.

A special team from Guntur is on the way to Palvancha to catch him.

But what makes the whole episode is a lurking suspicion that Samba could have slipped away from Kondapalli on Saturday evening right under the nose of 200 policemen, special parties, and greyhound units have been hounding him.

The police gradually have withdrawn the forces from Kondapalli. The psycho has also the tendency to slip into neighbouring districts when confronted with police forces.

Police officers, who have been trailing the dreaded stalker for months, said Samba had developed a wiry physique and strong legs as he used to swim in village tanks for more than two hours a day. It was this stamina that is keeping him in good stead even when faced with most adverse conditions, they said.
